Subject Contributions
Ararat Primary School is very proud of the quality programs that we have put in place to cater for the needs and interests of our students.  On an annual basis, School Council prepares a budget to provide resources for educational programs, administration, facilities development and maintenance.  Ararat Primary School’s income is currently funded from two sources:
​

• Department of Education (DE) Student Resource Package (SRP) to pay for school administration, utilities and services, staff salaries, urgent works, maintenance, cleaning and general school operations.

• Voluntary  Contributions provided by our parent community, which are essential components of funding. 

Swimming Program

• Students in Prep - Grade 6 have the opportunity to participate in an intensive, two week swimming program.

Camps & Excursions

• Grade 1 Late Night and Grade 2 Sleepover
• Grade 3/4 Camp
• Grade 5 & 6 Cams

Sports Events

• Prep to Grade 2 Swimming Program - Term 4
• Grade 3 to 6 Swimming Program - Term 1
• Grade 3 to 6 House Swimming Carnival - Term 1
• Black Ranges Interschool Sports competitions

CAMPS, SPORTS, & EXCURSIONS FUND

The Victorian Government have unveiled a new initiative to ensure all Victorian students can take part in school trips and sporting activities.

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) will run over four years and provide payments of $125  for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions.  Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply.
