Subject Contributions
Ararat Primary School is very proud of the quality programs that we have put in place to cater for the needs and interests of our students. On an annual basis, School Council prepares a budget to provide resources for educational programs, administration, facilities development and maintenance. Ararat Primary School’s income is currently funded from two sources:
We offer a range of options for fee payment, including payment plans, EFTPOS and BPAY. Forms are available from the office at any time. We are happy to accept payment by instalments. Please let us know your intentions when you collect your book packs.

Ararat Primary School’s income is currently funded from two sources:
- Department of Education & Early Childhood Development (DEECD) Student Resource Package (SRP) to pay for school administration, utilities and services, staff salaries, urgent works, maintenance, cleaning and general school operations.
- Payments and contributions provided by our parent community, which are essential components of funding.

Swimming Program
Our swimming program is provided by the YMCA. Our senior school swimming program (Grades 3 - 6) is conducted in early first term and the junior swimming program (Prep - 2) is usually conducted in Term 3. The cost of the swimming program in 2016 is $60 per student for Senior Swimming (10 lesson) and $55 for Junior Swimming (9 lessons). This amount must be paid in full before the commencement of the swimming program. Camps & Excursions

CAMPS, SPORTS, & EXCURSIONS FUNDThe Victorian Government have unveiled a new initiative to ensure all Victorian students can take part in school trips and sporting activities.
The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) will run over four years and provide payments of $125 for eligible students to attend camps, sports and excursions. Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply. Please see the below link for relevant information and application form. ![]()
